Ashleigh About Herself

Picture
"I'm crazy and it shows! Within five minutes u know it! I'm a character I will randomly burst out singin or dancin or both! I'm past taking crap from people for being me! I'm gonna do what I want and if I fall on my face oh well! I will get back up and dust myself off and learn not to do it again! Well, most of the time!                                                                        But my friends love me even if they sometimes have
to tell me to stand still lol! I'm hyper and a lil bit crazy and most people would say I'm a fire cracker!"
Ashleigh Marie Lindsey 2009

Ashleigh, whose warmth and radiance is as permanent as the sun.  I'd like to imagine you just got a little closer to that glowing star you always were.  Beth Savage Hydak

We loved her as our Christian sister, that she was.  She shared an inspiration that will carry on forever.

She gave us strength in time of trouble. Wisdom in time
of uncertainty. And sharing in time of happiness. She will always be by our side. She said the boldest prayer I ever heard from a young person at big youth rally that drew the spirit up in that place that day and every single heart was
touched that day by her prayer.

~Kyle Sanderson, Bonham, Texas

I only met her a few times and talked to her on the phone a lot she and I became
friends instantly. She sang to my kids an me and she sounded like an angel...she
was so very sweet and out going. I'm so glad I got the honor to meet her. I gave
her all of my old maternity clothes an when I brought them down to her, her face
lit up she was so grateful an thankful unlike most people and after that
every time I seen her she was rockin' them. She was such a delight to be around

I'm so very sorry to her family God bless ya'll an ya'll are in my prayers if  ya'll need
anything at all let us know I'll be sending flowers for her an Patience

I remember the first time I met Ashleigh was as your dad's funeral. She
said to me "You are my uncle? I told her "Only if you will have me!" I could
tell then she was full of life and a wonderful soul was inside. I love you all
so much and please know her grandpa was right there at heavens gates waiting on
her and Patience.
Uncle Tom.
Beautiful smile, warm heart, so generous. Full of song, conversation and
optimism. She brought joy.  We love her and miss her.

I will never forget those crazy times at the Jensen dorms. You were an outgoing,
fun, loving person and would do anything for anyone. May you and your unborn
child have peace. RIP to a firecracker who found their wings. Love you always.

I can not believe someone I met
only once made a lasting impression she was a a very sweet girl! I met her at my
sons graduation, I can not imagine what her mother is going through, my heart
breaks for you and my prayers are with you! We have to make a stand and get
involved Stop and take a stand if you see or hear something maybe we as a whole
can save a life and Ashleigh's legacy will be that She and her baby woke a
nation from its Slumber!!!

It isn't goodbye.  It's until we
see each other again in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Rest well my
precious. You will have an eternity full of joy. Thank you for being a part of
my life. I will carry your smile with me always and will never forget that the
last time I saw you (as you did every time we were together) you hugged me
tightly and told me you loved me. I am so very proud of you. I love you!

To my sweet Ashleigh.
It has been one week since you were so tragically taken from us, so let me update you.
Hundreds of people have heard about Jesus because of you. Thousands of people
have been given a new awareness of not only the existence, but of the horrific
nature, of domestic violence.  You, sweet baby girl, are changing the world,
just like we always knew you would.  We miss you each day, and can't believe
even still that you aren't here, and love you for always. You will never be
forgotten.    Sandy Woodlee

Hey baby girl I can't stop thinking about you, about all the good times we had at church, and at the river!! You will always be on my mind!!! I always remember you smiling every
time I saw you, and always giving people hugs((:  I LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL♥ Courtney Clark

I remember the first time I met you in freshmen English with Mrs. Clark, I thought you were the smartest girl with the most beautiful smile and a glowing soul. The way you wrote always made me cry because you were such a passionate person. I remember those Friday night football games when you would come up to me during
third quarter and give me my weekly kiss with your bright red lips!
and say "M...wah! Don't forget how much I love you!" I will never forget Ashleigh....I know you are wrapped up safely in God's arms with your baby girl looking down on all of us, and I know that when my day comes I can embrace you again. I am going tomorrow along with all the other people that were touched by your sweet
spirit....I love you
Ashleigh Lindsey, don't you ever forget!
Caitlyn Owens

This morning I woke up hearing your laugh. I will never forget that beautiful laugh and smile that graced your face even when times got hard. You always knew exactly what to say to someone in any situation. Sebastian and Meagan love you so very much. They would not be who they are today without your influence in their lives. We've all been sharing stories about you and it warms my heart to remember all the times you were here sharing your life with us. You could have been anywhere else with your friends, yet you chose to come see us so many times. My heart feels as if it has a big hole in it. I can't go by our front door without seeing you there. You would never leave our house without hugging us, and then turning just as you reached the front door and saying, "Bye. I love you guys". My dear Ashleigh Lindsey, we can't say goodbye to you. Instead, know this, Stephen, Sebastian, Meagan, and I will hold you in our hearts until that blessed day when we will be reunited again. Hold Patience tightly and know that we all love you both!    Staci Murden

I keep flashing back to the time you were staying with me. I remember you helping me watch my nephew who is a level 5 tornado with ADHD. He drives most people crazy, but you were so nice and patient with him. I knew then that you would make a wonderful mother.
I was so happy for you when I found out you were pregnant. Its sad that you didn't get that chance. Love you and miss you!   Jayme Ayers

We were so close for so long and it pains me that this has happened to you. I wish that I would have tried harder to keep our friendship. I just want to say that you were a true friend. You kept my secrets and I never said thank you for being there for me all the times you were.
You went through so much in your short 20 years. It saddens me that your life was taken but I am glad you are with God and that you no longer have to fear for your or your baby's life. When we were in our junior year, you gave me a necklace that I found today. I will wear it in your memory. I love you always.
 April Burk

you loved, you loved with all your heart, very compassionate person. I am So

Angela Childress

I remember all the fun times we had at Hanks! You were always so bubbly and
smiling all the time! You had love for everyone and you knew how to make anyone
smile!   Nicole Kamp

Ashleigh,
I don't think there is anything bad to say about you, you've
always been such a sweet person. We were pretty good friends in Middle
School up until you moved away in mid high school! You were always very
nice to everyone even when others weren't so nice to you, you still smiled
in there face and were friendly. You would always give me a big hug every
time we were in cheer leading. Prayers for your family and loved ones. I'm
very sorry for your lose. You'll be forever missed!     Chad Ashlee

Your smile and beautiful light has been taken from us far too soon.  A piece of us all goes with you.  Your Uncle Craig loves you and will miss you so very much.   Craig Sulser-Clark

You were truly a blessing to have in anyone's life. I will treasure
the memories I have with you. And sorry I can't make it tomorrow night, but I

that really need you right now through this tragic time. R.I.P Ashleigh. Love
