I just saw a message from one of Ashleigh's dorm roommates for college. She has some boxes of With some of Ashleigh's things that were in storage. Ashleigh forgot to get them. I am so excited!!! It's almost like Ashleigh has arranged a Mothers Day present. I can't wait to get them, ASAP and see what is in them. God Bless her girlfriend for letting me know and not just throwing it out! Mommy loves you, Ashleigh!
I just went thru the boxes Ashleigh's friends brought me. I'm so happy! These are the things I had been looking for & thought Josh destroyed except her writings are still gone. I have her fairies, Boyds bears, softball & Best Actress trophies . Plus things like my throw away wedding bouquet that she caught when Jim & I got married, her megaphones & purse I had monogramed special when she made cheerleader. Her "Don't make me go crazy on you" tshirt and her marbles. Thank you Brandon my heart is over joyed!

This is a chronicle of the grieving process at the murder of my daughter, Ashleigh Marie Lindsey and her unborn Baby Patience Lynn. They call the parentless child an orphan & the married person who loses their mate a widow/widower but what do they call a parent who loses a child? There is no word given for the parent who have seen this kind of untimely death.

The murder of a child is even worse and puts you in a very exclusive club (for lack of a better term) and even more exclusive is to have your grandchild murdered as well. It is a STOLEN GENERATION at the hands of the man/father who was suppose to love and protect them.

I have decided to share this journey so that other parents can see that what they feel is in no way wrong. THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO GRIEVE! This is my personal journey.
